We have come across many young people with great achievements in various fields, from education to sports. Many of them, with the support of their families, make great personal sacrifices to reach a high level of excellence. Often limited financial resources might become an obstacle in reaching great achievements and following their dreams. As a foundation, we want to prevent these to happen, as much as possible.

Hategan Foundation – Education programme was founded to support the academic and professional success of youth throughout the Timis district. We want to encourage young people to pursue excellence in their field. We want to give them opportunity to follow their dreams. Therefore, we have developed this programme of scholarships offering financial support in various forms to young people who are motivated, determined and have already achieved great results in their field.

In 2019, the Hațegan Foundation initiated a scholarship program for students from Timișoara together with WINGS TRUST from Switzerland. Thus, the first 3 SCHOLARSHIPS were offered to two students from Medicine and one student from Communication and Translation. In 2020, we continued to support the three fellows.

The BVT Academy started in 2018 in order to bring in front of the young people of Timișoara personalities from various backgrounds. The purpose of the program is to INSPIRE, MOTIVATE and EDUCATE.

Oxford for Romania Summer School is an education initiative launched by a group of Romanian students and researchers from the University of Oxford. Each year, they bring 24 teenagers with academic potential but modest financial resources to oxford for a week of multidisciplinary classes and eye-opening experience. The organizers are offering the 25 participants full scholarships. Since its launch in 2016, Hategan Foundation has been offering two scholarships each year.
